Dear Mr. Peterson:
This letter confirms the conversation between Kay Crane of your staff and Joseph Brady of this office on February 10, 2004, concerning an Annual Assessment Meeting (Category One public meeting) which has been scheduled for April 15, 2004, at 1:00 p.m (EST). The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the NRC Reactor Oversight Process Annual Assessment of the McGuire Nuclear Station. During the meeting, we recognize that you may have information which you want to present to us or any members of the public in attendance. Accordingly, if you so desire, after our presentation you will be afforded an opportunity to respond to any information contained in the Annual Assessment Letter and to discuss any new or existing programs that are designed to maintain or improve your current performance. The location of the meeting will be in the auditorium at the McGuire Office Complex, Building 7422. The meeting will be an open meeting in accordance with NRCs Policy Statement for Enhancing Public Participation in NRC Meetings, May 28, 2002 (Federal Register Volume 67, Number 102, Pages 36920-36924).
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS).
