Purpose:
The NRC requested an Annual Assessment Meeting with Entergy to discuss NRCs assessment of the safety performance of the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station for calendar year 2003. NRCs assessment is documented in a letter dated March 2, 2004.

Public Participation: This is a Category 1 Meeting. The public is invited to observe the business portion of the meeting between the NRC and Entergy. After the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned, the public will have an opportunity to communicate with the NRC regarding Entergys performance at Vermont Yankee and the role of the agency in ensuring safe plant operations. NRC staff will be available to discuss a variety of issues including the status of NRCs review of Entergys power uprate request.
