OF MEETING BETWEEN THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION (NRC) STAFF AND DOMINION NUCLEAR CONNECTICUT, INC REPRESENTATIVES TO DISCUSS THE MILLSTONE POWER STATION, UNITS 2 AND 3 LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION On February 6, 2004, the NRC staff met with members of Dominion Nuclear Connecticut, Inc.

(the applicant) in a public meeting to discuss the license renewal application (LRA) for the Millstone Power Station, Units 2 and 3. The application was submitted by letter dated January 20, 2004. The list of attendees is provided in Enclosure 1, and the meeting agenda is provided in Enclosure 2. A copy of the slides used by the applicant are provided as.

Mr. Russell Arrighi, NRC Lead Project Manager for the review of the Millstone LRA, provided opening remarks and introductions of meeting participants. Mr. Arrighi discussed the proposed schedule for the first portion of the LRA review. Mr. William Corbin and Mr. William Watson of Dominion Nuclear Connecticut, Inc. provided an overview of the content of the Millstone LRA.

The applicant explained the methodology used in determining consistency with NUREG-1801, Generic Aging Lessons Learned (GALL) Report, and previously approved staff positions.
