Oconee Nuclear Station Docket Number 50-269, 50-270, 50-287 Emergency Response Data System (ERDS) 10CFR50, Appendix E, Section VI, 3a requires that any software change that affects the transmitted data points identified in the ERDS Data Point Library must be submitted to the NRC.

Due to an instrument failure at Unit 3, the ERDS parameter for Pressurizer Level (Temp Correct) is no longer valid. A change has been processed allowing use of the Pressurizer Pressure Corrected Level instead of Pressurizer Temperature Corrected Level to give the Pressurizer Level indications.

Current Point- 03E2275 (RC PZR LEVEL 1 TEMP CORRECTED)

New Point-03E2300 (RC PZR LEVEL 1 PRESS CORRECTED)

This is a temporary change that will be removed when the Pressurizer RTD is replaced during our upcoming outage in October of 2004.

Changes to Unit 3 Plant Spec. Point Descriptions have been made, effective 12/09/03.

The corrected page of the effected Data Point Library is attached for your information.
