OPERATING REPORTS -FOR MILLSTONE UNIT NO. 2 FOR NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER 2003.

In accordance with the reporting requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.7 for

-Millstone Unit No. 2, and Technical Specification 6.9.1.5 for Millstone Unit No. 3, enclosed are the Monthly Operating Reports for the month of January 2004. contains the Millstone Unit No. 2 Monthly Operating Report and contains the Millstone Unit No. 3 Monthly Operating Report.

In addition, enclosed are revised Operating Reports for Millstone Unit 2 for the months of November and December 2003. The net generation numbers originally provided were derived from an incorrect data source. Attachment 3 contains the Millstone Unit No. 2 Revised Monthly Operating Report for November 2003 and Attachment 4 contains the Millstone Unit No. 2 Revised Monthly Operating Report for December 2003.

SUMMARY

The unit continued with Refueling Outage 15, which had begun on October 11, 2003. The reactor was achieved criticality at 0400 on November 26,2003. Low power physics testing was performed and the unit was placed on-line at 2219 on November 26,2003. The generator was taken off-line at 0335 on November 27, 2003 for main turbine overspeed testing and was reconnected to the grid at 0446. The reactor was manually tripped at 0617 on November 27, 2003 from approximately 25% power in response to high turbine vibrations. The reactor was restarted at 1521 on November 27, 2003. The generator was connected to the grid at 2209 on November 27, 2003 and was taken off-line at 2240 due to high turbine vibrations. The generator was connected to the grid at 0937 on November 28, 2003 and was taken off-line at 1051 due to high turbine vibrations. The reactor was manually tripped at 2205 on November 28, 2003 from approximately 11% power in response to high turbine vibrations during turbine startup. The reactor was restarted at 1436 hours0.0166 days <br />0.399 hours <br />0.00237 weeks <br />5.46398e-4 months <br /> on November 29, 2003. The generator was connected to the grid at 0235 on November 30, 2003 and was taken off-line at 0336 due to high turbine vibrations.

The generator was connected to the grid at 1157 on November 30, 2003 and was taken off-line at 1338 due to high turbine vibrations. The generator was connected to the grid at 2309 on November 30, 2003.

SUMMARY
