Indiana Michigan Power Company 500 Circle Drive Buchanan, MI 49107 1395 INDIANA MICHIGAN POWER February 10, 2004 AEP:NRC:2691-39 Docket Nos.

50-315 50-316 U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Attn: Document Control Desk Mail Stop O-P1-17 Washington, DC 20555-0001 Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant Units I and 2 MONTHLY OPERATING REPORT Pursuant to the requirements of Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant Unit 1 and Unit 2 Technical Specification 6.9.1.8, the attached Monthly Operating Report for January 2004 is submitted.

Additionally, the Unit 1 NRC Operating Data Report and the Unit 1 Average Daily Power Level for June 2003 are being resubmitted due to a data entry error. The error affected the Unit 1 auxiliary power generation. The total auxiliary power was revised for the month of June 2003 prior to preparing the July 2003 NRC Monthly Operating Report. Therefore, this error did not affect subsequent NRC Monthly Operating Reports.

There are no new commitments associated with this submittal.

Should you have any questions, please contact Mr. Toby K. Woods, Compliance Supervisor, at (269) 466-2798.

Sincerely, John i. Zwolinski Director of Design Engineering and Regulatory Affairs JEN/jen Attachment
