FEMA REGION IV FINAL EXERCISE REPORT FOR MAY 13, 2003 PARTIAL PARTICIPATION PLUME EXPOSURE PATHWAY EXERCISE - MCGUIRE NUCLEAR STATION

Dear Mr. Peterson:

Enclosed is the subject report for the May 13, 2003, partial participation plume exposure pathway exercise of the offsite radiological emergency response plans site-specific to the McGuire Nuclear Station. All objectives of the exercise were demonstrated with no Deficiencies being identified. However, one Area Requiring Corrective Action (ARCA) was identified during the exercise relating to the lack of capability by personnel to monitor and decontaminate emergency workers and vehicles.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRCs "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS).
