Catawba Nuclear Station, Unit 1 Docket No. 50-413 Errata: Steam Generator Tube Inspection Report Unit 1 End of Core (EOC) 14 By letter dated December 23, 2003, Catawba Nuclear Station submitted its Steam Generator Tube Inspection Report for Unit 1 EOC 14 pursuant to Technical Specifications 5.6.8.a. and 5.6.8.b. Your staff identified an error contained in the cover letter; specifically, the unit and docket numbers were incorrect. The submittal should have referenced Unit 1, Docket No. 50-413. Accordingly, please replace the effected cover letter dated December 23, 2003 with the attached cover letter dated January 7, 2004 that accurately reflects Unit 1 information.

Catawba Nuclear Station, Unit 1 Docket No. 50413 Steam Generator Tube Inspection Report Unit 1 End of Core (EOC) 14 Catawba Nuclear Station (CNS) Technical Specifications 5.6.8.a. and 5.6.8.b., requires the number of tubes plugged in each steam generator to be reported within 15 days and requires the complete results of the Steam Generator Tube Surveillance Program to be reported within 12 months, respectively, following the completion of the program.
The following provides the quantity of tubes inspected and tubes removed from service by plugging:

Attachments 5, 6, 7, and 8 identify tubes removed from service by plugging in steam generators A, B, C, and D respectively. The tubes to be plugged are also provided.
