FEMA REGION IV FINAL EXERCISE FOR NOVEMBER 19-20, 2002 FULL PARTICIPATION PLUME EXERCISE - BRUNSWICK STEAM ELECTRIC PLANT
Dear Mr. Gannon:
Enclosed is the subject report for the November 19-20, 2002, full participation plume phase and ingestion pathway exercise of the offsite radiological emergency response plans site-specific to the Brunswick. All objectives of the exercise were demonstrated with no deficiencies identified.
However; there was one Area Requiring Corrective Action identified at the Joint Information Center concerning the fact that the supplemental news release was not effectively linked to the EAS message.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRCs "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS).
