Dear Sir or Madam:
Please issue a correction to the EPA Federal Register Notice of Filing published today (68 FR 64372) concerning the availability of Supplement 16 to the Generic Environmental Impact Statement Regarding License Renewal for Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station, Units 1 and 2 (EPA EIS Number 030513). The Notice of Filing specifies a date of December 29, 2003, for the end of the comment period. Please issue a correction which specifies a date of January 27, 2004, for the end of the comment period. It is the NRC staff practice to establish a 75-day comment period instead of the standard 45-day comment period. If there are any questions regarding this request, please call me at (301) 451-1444.
