Florida Power & Light Company St. Lucie Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2 Issuance of Renewed Facility Operating Licenses Pursuant to Section 25-6.04365(6) of the Florida Administrative Code, Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) hereby notifies the Florida Public Service Commission of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC) approval of the renewed facility operating licenses for the St. Lucie Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2.
By NRC to FPL letter dated October 2, 2003, new Facility Operating Licenses were issued for both St. Lucie nuclear units. The expiration dates of the new licenses are March 1, 2036 for Unit 1 and April 6, 2043 for Unit 2.
