By letter dated June 14, 2002, Carolina Power & Light (CP&L) Company, now doing business as Progress Energy Carolinas, (PEC) Inc., submitted an application for renewal of the Operating License for the H. B. Robinson Steam Electric Plant (HBRSEP), Unit No. 2, which is also referred to as the Robinson Nuclear Plant (RNP).
During NRC review of the license renewal application (LRA), PEC is required by 10 CFR 54.21(b) to report changes to the RNP current licensing basis (CLB) that materially affect the contents of the RNP LRA, including the Updated Final Safety Analysis Report supplement.
PEC has completed a review of pertinent documentation and no changes were identified that materially affect the contents of the RNP LRA.
Attachment I provides an Affirmation in accordance with 10 CFR 50.30(b).
