Cook Nuclear Plant Unit 1 and Unit 2 Technical Specification 6.9.1.8, the attached Monthly Operating Report for August 2003 is submitted.

Additionally, the following Unit Shutdowns and Power Reductions summaries are being resubmitted due to errors in the calculation of the duration hours: Unit 1 and Unit 2 - February 2003; Unit 1 - May 2003; and Unit 2 - June 2003. These summaries incorrectly reported reactor shutdown hours instead of generator shutdown hours for those periods.

There are no new commitments associated with this submittal.

The power supplies have been replaced and the unit was returned to service. Actions to prevent recurrence will be identified once the cause of the failure Is known.
