At the start of this reporting period, Nine Mile Point Unit Two remained in the forced outage, which began on July 24, 2003 at 0557 hours0.00645 days <br />0.155 hours <br />9.209656e-4 weeks <br />2.119385e-4 months <br /> when the plant automatically scrammed, because of an Oscillation Power Range Monitor (OPRM) trip signal. After redesign and replacement of the feedwater control circuit power supplies, the unit was synchronized to the grid at 0155 hours0.00179 days <br />0.0431 hours <br />2.562831e-4 weeks <br />5.89775e-5 months <br /> on August 3, 2003.

On August 14, 2003 at 1611 hours0.0186 days <br />0.448 hours <br />0.00266 weeks <br />6.129855e-4 months <br /> experienced an automatic reactor scram due to offsite power grid disturbances. There were no challenges to the safety relief valves during this reporting period.
