SUMMARY

The unit operated at fun power from the beginning of the month until August 14, 2003 at 1611. Voltage and current fluctuations on the grid caused an automatic reactor scram on over temperature delta T and an automatic turbine trip. Pressurizer PORVs actuated on high pressure shorty after the reactor trip and Is reported here as directed by Technical Specifications. An unusual event was declared due to loss of offsite power circuits for onger than 15 minutes. The reactor was made critical on August 17, 2003 at 1111. The turbinewas brought on-line on August 17, 2003 at 1532, but was tripped three minutes later, at 1535, due to high condenser backpressure. The turbine was placed on-line again at 2038 on.August 17, 2003 followIng a reconfiguration of the condensate system to enhance condenser vacuum. The unit reached full power on August 18, 2003 at 2140 and operated there for the emander of the month.
