Dear Mr. Lukic:

Your article in the June 2003 issue of Nuclear Technology on the subject of crud control for light water reactor fuel (Taming the Crud Problem: A Utility Perspective, Nuclear Technology, Pages 283-293) has been brought to the attention of the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS). The Reactor Fuels Subcommittee of the ACRS is planning to hold a meeting in Rockville, Maryland, on September 29 and 30, 2003, to discuss several issues relating to safety and operational aspects of nuclear reactor fuel. The Committee would like to invite you to attend this meeting and make a presentation about your experience with the control of crud in operating reactors.

Please note that the Committee cannot pay for any travel or accommodation expenses associated with your attendance at this meeting. If you have any questions about the meeting or this invitation, please contact the responsible ACRS staff member, Mr. Ralph Caruso, at 301-415-8065.
