Dear Mr. Scarola:
This letter confirms the telephone conversation between Mr. John Caves of your staff and me on June 23, 2003, concerning a management meeting (Category One public meeting) which has been scheduled for August 27, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. EDT. The purpose of this meeting, conducted at your request, is to discuss performance of the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant. The location of the meeting will be at the Region II Office located at 61 Forsyth Street SW, Suite 24T20, Atlanta, Georgia, 30303-8931. The meeting will be an open meeting in accordance with NRCs Policy Statement for Enhancing Public Participation in NRC meetings, May 28, 2002 (Federal Register Volume 67, Number 102, 36920-36924).
