SUMMARY
The plant entered the reporting period shutdown due to the continuation of the planned refueling outage. Pilgrim began restart activities on May 12 and synchronized to the grid at 1535 hours0.0178 days <br />0.426 hours <br />0.00254 weeks <br />5.840675e-4 months <br /> on May 13. The unit was removed from the grid at 0411 hours0.00476 days <br />0.114 hours <br />6.795635e-4 weeks <br />1.563855e-4 months <br /> on May 16 and a forced outage was initiated to identify and repair sources of leakage in the drywell. The unit was restarted on May 18 and at 0424 on May 19 a scram occurred due to inadvertent operation of the turbine bypass valves. Pilgrim Station was restarted on May 20 and synchronized to the grid at 1441 hours0.0167 days <br />0.4 hours <br />0.00238 weeks <br />5.483005e-4 months <br />. Planned power ascension testing continued and 1998 MWt was reached on May 22 at 0406 hours0.0047 days <br />0.113 hours <br />6.712963e-4 weeks <br />1.54483e-4 months <br />.
