OF MAY 20, 2003, CATEGORY 2 MEETING WITH NUCLEAR MANAGEMENT COMPANY, LLC, TO DISCUSS ITS LICENSE AMENDMENT REQUEST DATED MARCH 25, 2003, REGARDING TRANSITION OF SAFETY ANALYSES (TAC NOS. MB8128 AND MB8129)
On May 20, 2003, a public meeting was held between the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff and representatives of the Nuclear Management Company, LLC (NMC), at NRC Headquarters. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss NMCs license amendment request dated March 25, 2003, regarding the transition of safety analyses at the Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant, Units 1 and 2. A notice for the meeting was issued on May 14, 2003 (ADAMS Accession No. ML031330683) and the notice was posted on the NRCs external (public) Web site.
The meeting consisted of (1) a presentation by NMC of its Safety Analyses Transition LAR
[license amendment request] submitted March 25, 2003 (Enclosure 2), and (2) a general discussion between the NRC staff and NMC regarding the request. is a list of the meeting attendees.
