This is to inform you of the status of Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) Technical Specifications Task Force (TSTF) travelers since the transmittal and adoption of the policy as described in the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) letter to NEI dated January 10, 2003.
The following are the travelers that the staff has agreed to continue to review under fee exemption status:
TSTF-373, R.2 Increase CIV Completion Time in accordance with CE-NPSD-1168 TSTF-429, R.1 Ice Mass Determination Surveillance Requirements TSTF-439, R.1 Eliminate Second Completion Times Limiting Time from Discovery of Failure to meet an LCO TSTF-446 Risk Informed Evaluation of Extensions to Containment Isolation Valve Completion Times (WCAP-15791)
TSTF-447, R.1 Elimination of Hydrogen Recombiners and Change to Hydrogen and Oxygen Monitors TSTF-448 Control Room Habitability TSTF-449 Steam Generator Tube Integrity Additionally, the following Risk Management Technical Specifications will continue to be reviewed by the staff under fee exemption status:

TSTF-433 Eliminate SR 3.8.2.1, Note 2, from the PWR ITS NUREGs TSTF-436 Revise Channel Calibration Definition to Address Non-Adjustable Sensors TSTF-437 Correction of Rod Position Indication Condition TSTF-443 Revision to Frequency for CFT for PORV Additionally, it was agreed in the April 9, 2003, NRC/NEI TSTF meeting that TSTF-444, "ESFAS Interlocks P-4, P-11 & P-12 LCO Actions and Surveillance Requirements Revisions" has no industry benefit and is therefore considered to be withdrawn by the TSTF.
TSTF-357, R.1 "Revision to TS 2.1.1.2, MCPR Safety Limit" and TSTF-421, "Revision to RCP Flywheel Inspection Program (WCAP-15666)" has been reassigned for review from the Technical Specifications Section to the Division of Licensing Project Management.
The following TSTFs have been approved for adoption:
