Dear Mr. Skolds:
We have scheduled a radiation protection inspection at your Quad Cities Station, Unit 1, to coincide with the upcoming refueling outage. This change was communicated during a telephone conversation between Mr. D. Barker of your staff and Mr. D. Nelson on April 28, 2003.
The radiation protection inspection (IP 71121.01 and 71121.02), which will cover access control to radiologically significant areas and ALARA planning and controls, has been scheduled for portions of the weeks of May 19 and 26, 2003. If you have any questions concerning this information, please contact D. Nelson or J. House of my staff at (630) 829-9610/9824.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRCs "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS).
