CLOSE OUT OF TAC NOS. MB4278, MB4279, AND MB4280 FOR OCONEE NUCLEAR STATION, UNITS 1, 2, AND 3 The subject TAC numbers were opened to perform a pre-application review for the digital upgrade of the Reactor Protective System and the Engineered Safeguards Protective System. By letter dated March 20, 2003, Duke Energy submitted a defense-in-depth and diversity analysis to support the implementation of this digital upgrade, and TAC Nos. MB8086, MB8087, and MB8088 were opened. Therefore, TAC Nos. MB4278, MB4279, and MB4280 are no longer needed and are closed by this note.
