RESOLUTION FORWARDING CONCERNS REGARDING OYSTER CREEK NUCLEAR GENERATION STATION TO THE APPROPRIATE AUTHORITIES AND REQUESTING A HEARING MARCH 11, 2003 WHEREAS, the Township Committee has received a complaint from the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generation Station; and WHEREAS, this Complaint specifically detailed that there was no security at the entrance to the loading dock from the traffic light at Route 9; and WHEREAS, "Jersey Shore Nuclear Watch" has requested that security barriers and guards be placed at the Route 9 entrance to the on-site warehouse loading dock; and WHEREAS, Jersey Shore Nuclear Watch has requested that these and other issues should be considered at a hearing; and WHEREAS, the Township of Berkeley has indicated they would make their facilities available for such a hearing; and WHEREAS, the Township Committee does not have any legal jurisdiction over such matters; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Committee of the Township of Dover, in the County of Ocean, and State of New Jersey, as follows:

The Township Committee joins in the request that the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission hold a hearing at the Township of Berkeley Municipal Building to consider the claims raised by Jersey Shore Nuclear Watch.

A certified copy of this resolution shall be provided by the Office of the Township Clerk to each of the following:
