NINE MILE POINT NUCLEAR STATION UNIT #2
SUMMARY
OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE Nine Mile Point Unit Two operated with a capacity factor (MDC) of 102.75% and an availability factor of 100% for the month of March, 2003.
On March 1, 2003 at 0730 hours0.00845 days <br />0.203 hours <br />0.00121 weeks <br />2.77765e-4 months <br /> Operations commenced a planned down power for a rod sequence exchange, SCRAM time testing and feed pump swap. Power was reduced to approximately 54%, where feed pump "C" was secured and feed pump "B" was placed in service. After completion of the rod sequence exchange and SCRAM time testing, full power was restored at 0948 hours0.011 days <br />0.263 hours <br />0.00157 weeks <br />3.60714e-4 months <br /> on March 2, 2003.
There were no challenges to the safety relief valves during this reporting period.
