Nine Mile Point Unit Nos. 1 and 2 Docket Nos. 50-220 and 50-410 Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-63 and NPF-69 10 CFR 50.54(w)(3) Reporting Requirements Gentlemen:
This is to advise you that, as of April 1, 2003, Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station, LLC has Nuclear Property and Decontamination Liability Insurance in place totaling $2.750 billion, as described below.
The primary property insurance coverage (Primary Property and Decontamination Liability Insurance) of $500 million is provided by Nuclear Electric Insurance Limited (NEIL) under policy number P02-095. In the event of a common occurrence, there is an aggregate of $500 million applicable. This policy renews on July 1, 2003.
The next $2.250 billion of insurance coverage (Decontamination Liability Coverage, Decommissioning Liability Coverage, and Excess Nuclear Property Coverage) is also provided by NEIL, under policy number X02-095. This policy also renews on July 1, 2003.
