PUBLIC MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT
- ANNUAL ASSESSMENT - SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT, DOCKET NOS. 50-327 AND 50-328
Dear Mr. Scalice:
This letter confirms the telephone conversation between Mr. Salas of your staff and Scott Freeman during the week of March 3, 2003, concerning an Annual Assessment Meeting requested by us which is scheduled for April 10, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the NRC Reactor Oversight Process Annual Assessment of your Sequoyah facility.
During the meeting, we recognize that you may have information which you want to present to us or any members of the public in attendance. Accordingly, if you so desire, after our presentation you will be afforded an opportunity to respond to any information contained in the Annual Assessment Letter and to discuss any new or existing programs that are designed to maintain or improve your current performance. The meeting will be held at the Sequoyah Nuclear Training Center Auditorium.
The meeting will be an open meeting in accordance with NRCs Policy Statement for Enhancing Public Participation in NRC Meetings, May 28, 2002 (Federal Register Volume 67, Number 102, 36920-36924).
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter will be made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS).
