Dear Mr. Skolds:
This letter confirms the discussion between Mr. J. Neurauter of this office and Mr. A. Haeger of your staff to have a predecisional enforcement conference on Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. (CDT) in the Region III Office, Lisle, Illinois. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss apparent violations of the NRC requirement to provide complete and accurate information related to a telephone conference call with members of your staff on September 27, 2001, concerning the technical adequacy of an operability evaluation involving a damaged pipe support discovered on July 19, 2001, in the Dresden Unit 3 High Pressure Coolant Injection System. The meeting will be closed to public attendance, but will be transcribed.
We will gladly discuss any questions you may have concerning this matter.
In accordance with 10 CFR Part 2.790 of the NRC's Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
