- CATEGORY ONE MEETING ANNUAL ASSESSMENT - JOSEPH M. FARLEY NUCLEAR PLANT, DOCKET NOS. 50-348 AND 50-364
Dear Mr. Beasley:
This letter confirms the conversation between Ms. Brenda Singleton of your staff and Mr. Tom Johnson of the NRC staff concerning an Annual Assessment Meeting (Category One public meeting) requested by us which is scheduled for March 27, 2002, at 5:30 p.m. (CST). The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the NRC Reactor Oversight Process Annual Assessment of your Farley Nuclear Plant. During the meeting, we recognize that you may have information which you want to present to us or any members of the public in attendance. Accordingly, if you so desire, after our presentation you will be afforded an opportunity to respond to any information contained in the Annual Assessment Letter and to discuss any new or existing programs that are designed to maintain or improve your current performance. The location of the meeting will be at the Houston County Administration Building, 3rd floor, County Commissioners Chambers, 462 North Oats Street, Dothan, AL. The meeting will be an open meeting in accordance with NRCs Policy Statement for Enhancing Public Participation in NRC Meetings, May 28, 2002 (Federal Register Volume 67, Number 102, 36920-36924).
