- CATEGORY ONE MEETING ANNUAL ASSESSMENT - SHEARON HARRIS NUCLEAR POWER PLANT, DOCKET NO. 50-400
Dear Mr. Scarola:
This letter confirms the conversation between Mr. Terry Morton of your staff and Mr. Joe Brady of the NRC staff on March 7, 2003, concerning an Annual Assessment Meeting (Category One public meeting) requested by us which is scheduled for March 25, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. (EST).
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the NRC Reactor Oversight Process Annual Assessment of your Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant. During the meeting, we recognize that you may have information which you want to present to us or any members of the public in attendance. Accordingly, if you so desire, after our presentation you will be afforded an opportunity to respond to any information contained in the Annual Assessment Letter and to discuss any new or existing programs that are designed to maintain or improve your current performance. The location of the meeting will be at the Harris Energy and Environmental Center Board Room, 3932 New Hill-Holleman Road, New Hill, NC 27562. The meeting will be an open meeting in accordance with NRCs Policy Statement for Enhancing Public Participation in NRC meetings, May 28, 2002 (Federal Register Volume 67, Number 102, 36920-36924).
