DAEC EMERGENCY PLAN ASSET OWNER - NMC Rev. 2/17/2003 ASSET OWNER - NMC RELATIONSHIP Page 1 of 1 ASSET OWNER - NMC RELATIONSHIP The DAEC Emergency Plan was previously revised stating that the Asset Owner was IES. The name of the Asset Owner was changed to Interstate Power & Light Company via Amendment 244 to License DPR-49 for DAEC. As sections of the DAEC Emergency Plan are revised for other reasons, the following statement shall be incorporated into the applicable section. Until all sections are revised, this note shall suffice to ensure that the Asset Owner - NMC relationship is understood.

"The NMC is assigned operationalresponsibilityfor the DAEC. However, the Asset Owner maintains corporateaccountabilityfor activitiesat the DAEC and will participate when necessaryin activities at the DAEC. The reference "AssetOwner/NMC" will be used throughout this procedure to signify this relationship. Furtherdetails regardingthis relationshipcan be found in the "NuclearPowerPlant OperatingServices Agreement (NPPOSA)"between the Asset Owner and the NMC."
