SUMMARY
Unit 1 began the month of January 2003 at 100% of rated thermal power (RTP).
On January 3V at 22:30 hours, reactor power was reduced to 98% RTP to reset 1 B Recirc. Pump MG set scoop tube lock prior to load drop. At 23:19 hours, reactor power was reduced to 63% for rod pattern adjustment and scram time testing.
On January 4 0 at 05:55 hours, reactor power was restored to 100% RTP.
Unit 1 ended the month of January 2003 at 100% RTP.

SUMMARY
Unit 2 began the month of January 2003 at 100% of rated thermal power (RTP).Throughout the month, unless specified below, when the unit operated at less than 100% RTP, it was due to end of cycle coastdown.
On January 161 at 14:24 hours, reactor power was reduced from 99% to 95% RTP to remove the 6A Feedwater Heater from service. At 16:09 hours, reactor power was restored to 100% RTP.
On January 251 at 14:42 hours, reactor power was reduced from 99% to 94% RTP to remove the 6B Feedwater Heater from service. At 15:36 hours, reactor power was restored to 100% RTP Unit 2 ended the month of January 2003 at 99% RTP due to end of cycle coastdown.
