- OCONEE NUCLEAR STATION (ONS)
Dear Mr. Jones:
This refers to the open Management meeting that was conducted at the Region II Office, Sam Nunn Federal Center 61 Forsythe Street SW, Atlanta, Georgia 30303, on January 28, 2003, to discuss Oconees: (1) recent management changes; (2) design basis review initiatives; and (3) future steam generator and reactor vessel head replacements. A list of attendees and a copy of your presentation handout are enclosed.
It is our opinion that this meeting was beneficial in that it provided the NRC staff with further insight into the progress of design basis review initiatives along with future head and steam generator replacements occurring at the Oconee site.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRCs "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS).
