H-Other (Explain) 3 Cause and Corrective Action to Prevent Occurrence RX was manually shutdownltripped due to elevated SG#2 sulfate levels. Returned to power on 11/01 While downpowering for an outage (to repair vibrations on SIA-UV-651), Unit 1 experienced an unplanned, automatic scram due to a component failure in the Reactor Control system. Returned to power on 11/12.
3Method:
1-Manual 2-Manual Trip / Scram 3-Automatic Trip / Scram 4-Continuation 5-Other-(Explain)
Original November'02 MOR for Unit 1 incorrectly identified the 11/10/02 Unit shutdown as a "manual" trip.
Cause of the automatic trip / scram addressed by CRDR 2566870. Cause of the incorrect NRC-MOR addressed by CRDR 2574980.
