Clarification of Response to Order Modifying Licenses Gentlemen:
The NRC issued the Order Modifying Licenses ("Order") by letter dated February 25, 2002. Southern California Edison (SCE) responded to the Order by letters dated March 18, May 14, and November 27, 2002 for the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Units 2 and 3. The enclosure to this letter provides additional information regarding SONGS security systems as requested at a meeting with the NRC staff on December 10, 2002 and a site visit by the NRC staff on December 16 - 17, 2002.
Note that the enclosure to this letter contains Safeguards Information as defined by 10 CFR 73.2. This transmittal letter may be decontrolled upon separation from its enclosure.
