Docket 50-305 Operating License DPR-43 Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant Withdrawal of Proposed Amendment Regarding Allowed Outage Time For The Individual Rod Position Indicator System. (TAC No. MB3825)

In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.90, Nuclear Management Company, LLC, (NMC) submitted a proposed amendment to the Technical Specifications (TS) for the Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant as described in references 1 and 2.
The proposed amendment requested an allowed outage time (AOT) for the Individual Rod Position I ndicator (IRPI) system o f 2 4 h ours with m ore than one I RPI per g roup inoperable.
NMC has decided to withdrawal this proposed amendment based upon a review of the internal resources needed. NMC may decide to pursue this change in the future.
