SUBJECT:
KEWAUNEE NUCLEAR POWER PLANT - REVIEW REGARDING PROPOSED AMENDMENT REQUEST TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 3.10.f, INOPERABLE ROD POSITION INDICATOR CHANNELS, CHANGES, DATED JANUARY 14, 2002 (MB3825)
During the review of the subject proposed license amendment, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff determined additional information was necessary to complete its review. In accordance with Nuclear Reactor Regulation Office Instruction 101, the attached draft request for additional information (RAI) was sent via e-mail (November 25, 2002, at 3:44 PM EST) from J. Lamb (NRC) to T. Maloney of Nuclear Management Company, LLC (NMC) at Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant. A conference call will be arranged between the NRC and NMC staffs. Once the NRC staff and the licensee have a common understanding of the information required, the RAI will be issued formally to the licensee.
