-287 Oconee Nuclear Station Units 1, 2, and 3 Automatic Feedwater Isolation System (AFIS)
Operational on Unit 2 Duke installed the Automatic Feedwater Isolation System (AFIS) on Oconee Unit 2 during the Fall 2002 Outage.
AFIS operability testing was completed and the system was placed in service prior to entry into the Technical Specification 3.3.13 Mode of Applicability (MODE 3 with main steam header pressure Ž 700 psig).
Oconee Unit 2 entered Mode 3 on November 20, 2002.
This information is provided in accordance with the NRC request in letter dated September 26, 2001 that issued the AFIS license amendment.
