OF NOVEMBER 14, 2002, MEETING WITH FPL ENERGY SEABROOK, LLC (FPLE SEABROOK) TO DISCUSS THE ROOT CAUSE EVALUATION FOR AXIAL OUTSIDE DIAMETER INDICATIONS ON STEAM GENERATOR TUBES AT SEABROOK STATION, UNIT NO. 1 This summary refers to the meeting with FPLE Seabrook which was conducted on November 14, 2002, at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) offices in Rockville, Maryland. The meeting was held at the request of the NRC staff. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the root cause evaluation for axial outside diameter indications identified on steam generator tubes at Seabrook Station during the May 2002 refueling outage. Find enclosed a list of the meeting attendees (Enclosure 1) and a copy of the meeting handout presented by FPLE Seabrook (Enclosed 2).
The FPLE Seabrook presentation closely followed the material provided in the meeting handout and was consistent with the discussion topics listed in the Meeting Notice (ADAMS Accession No. ML023090002).
