SUBJECT:
WATERFORD STEAM ELECTRIC STATION, UNIT 3 RE: EMERGENCY PLAN CHANGES CORRECTIONS (TAC NO. MB6601)
Entergy Operations, Inc., (EOI), by application dated March 14, 2001, as supplemented by letters dated April 13, 2001, March 15 and September 9, 2002, and in accordance with 10 CFR 50.4 and 10 CFR 50.54(q), submitted changes to the Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3 Emergency Plan for Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) review and approval prior to their implementation. By letter dated September 30, 2002, NRC accepted the proposed EP changes and a Safety Evaluation (SE) was attached to the letter. On the receipt of letter dated September 30, 2002, EOI called the staff to address some errors/discrepancies in the SE. The staff requested that the errors be clearly marked on the SE and sent back to NRC. On October 29, 2002, EOI sent electronically, the markup of the SE. The purpose of this memorandum is to place the markup of the SE into ADAMS.
