ATTACHIMENT C NARRATIVE OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE DOCKET NO: 50-220 UNIT NAME: NMP1 DATE: 11/04/02 PREPARED BY: P. E. Netusil TELEPHONE: (315) 349-7935 The unit operated during the month of October 2002 with a Net Electrical Design capacity factor of 97.9 percent. On October 4, 2002, power was reduced to approximately 85 percent of rated power due to maintenance activities on #14 Reactor Recirculation Pump Motor Generator controls. Also, on October 19, 2002, power was reduced to approximately 70 percent of rated power-to perform a Control Rod Sequence Exchange. There were no challenges to the electromatic relief valves or safety valves during the operating period.
