SUMMARY

OF MEETING HELD ON OCTOBER 16, 2002, WITH ENTERGY OPERATIONS, INC. (EOI), RE: EXTENDED POWER UPRATE AT WATERFORD STEAM ELECTRIC STATION, UNIT 3 (WATERFORD 3)

On October 16, 2002, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff held a meeting with representatives of EOI. The meeting was held at NRC headquarters in Rockville, Maryland.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the proposed extended power uprate at Waterford 3. The agenda for the meeting was provided and attached to the meeting notice dated October 3, 2002.

The slides presented by EOI are included as Attachment 1 to this letter. A list of the attendees is in Attachment 2.
