Automatic scram from 74% power at 22:10 due to a Sept. and turbine trip on high condenser pressure. The unit was at into 74% power due to a reactor recirc system runback which October '
resulted from a loss of 120V AC power. This loss of AC power also caused loss of the U2 off-gas recombiner causing condenser pressure to rise to the turbine trip setpoint.
The loss of power occurred during maintenance on an Uninterruptible Power Supply.
Summary: An Event Review Team investigation is in progress. Preliminary results are that a misinterpretation of a maintenance work plan, while doing preventive maintenance on 2D130 Uninterruptible Power Supply, resulted in a momentary closure of an incorrect circuit breaker. The team is also investigating the operation of an electrical interlock, which should have prevented the inadvertent operation of the incorrect circuit from causing the loss of power.
Components have been replaced and tested.
