SUMMARY
CHANGE NUMBER DESCRIPTION 2-001 This change removed various bases because the associated technical specifications were relocated to the Licensing Requirements Manual per License Amendment 124. It also incorporated changes partially reflecting License Amendment 125 (RWST boron concentration limits) and partially reflecting License Amendment 126 (change to minimum decay time prior to fuel movement).
2-002 Bases were changed to reflect Amendment 126. Amendment 126 revised Technical Specification Section 3.9.3 to reduce the minimum decay time required prior to fuel movement from 150 hours0.00174 days
0.0417 hours
2.480159e-4 weeks
5.7075e-5 months
to 100 hours0.00116 days
0.0278 hours
1.653439e-4 weeks
3.805e-5 months
.
2-003 Bases were changed to reflect Amendments 122 and 127.
Amendment 122 revised Technical Specifications to permit a 1.4-percent increase in the plant's operating power level.
Amendment 127 modified Technical Specification 3.7.1.1, Main Steam Safety Valves (MSSVs), maximum power levels permissible with inoperable MSSVs, clarified the bases for the determination of the total relieving capacity of the MSSVs and made other minor changes.
2-004 Bases were revised to reflect RWST boron concentration limit changes granted by License Amendment 125.
2-005 Bases were revised to incorporate changes resulting from License Amendment 128. This amendment permitted a revised spent fuel pool criticality analysis and methodology to be used.
It also allowed soluble boron and storage patterns to be credited in preventing criticality.
2-006 Bases were revised to incorporate changes resulting from License Amendment 131. This amendment revised restrictions for startup of a reactor coolant pump.
