Description FSPH-General Intended function number 10, provides structural support to Non-Safety Related components whose failure could prevent satisfactory accomplishment of any of the required Safety Related functions was used when identifying structures and components supporting equipment which are relied upon to demonstrates compliance with regulated events. For example, equipment pads are in-scope since they provide structural support to the fire pumps. While the equipment within the Fire Service Pumphouse is Non Safety Related, the fire pumps are required to be operable in order to demonstrate compliance with the Fire Protection (FP) 10 CFR 50.48 regulated event.
