HYDROGEN COOLING Summary:
McGuire unit 2 began the month of August operating at 98% power holding due to throttle valve #1 servo card repair. The unit resume power escalation on 08/01/02 at 0151.
The unit returned to 100% full power on 08/01/02 at 0359. On 08/22/02 at 1637 a manual reactor trip occurred from 99.3% due to main generator hydrogen cooling. The unit was placed on-line 08/24/02 at 1204. During power escalation, the unit held at 90% power for thermal power verification. The unit returned to 100% full power 08/26/02 at 0206 and operated at or near 100% full power the remainder of the month.
