SUMMARY
OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE Nine Mile Point Unit Two operated with a capacity factor (MDC) of 101.2% and an availability factor of 100% for the month of July, 2002.
On July 27, 2002, at 0730 hours0.00845 days <br />0.203 hours <br />0.00121 weeks <br />2.77765e-4 months <br />, a planned power reduction was initiated to support repair of minor leaks in the second point feedwater heater drain line. A Furmanite leak repair was performed while the unit was maintained at approximately 76% power. Following satisfactory completion of the leak repair, full power operation was resumed on July 27, 2002 at 2115 hours0.0245 days <br />0.588 hours <br />0.0035 weeks <br />8.047575e-4 months <br />.
There were no challenges to the safety relief valves during this reporting period.
