As I understand from the note, the text has not been formally submitted to NRC as of yet. NRC staff is to agree with the informal information and then W will formally submit. We will incorporate whatever is docketed.

Does Duke propose to use this letter to resolve RAI 4.3-6? If so, I need to know when the letter was submitted to the staff so I can verify that we have it on the docket. Of course, the reviewers will have to evaluate the merit of the argument from Westinghouse....

SK, The enclosed document contains the clarifications needed to justify the WOG request that the SER issued for WOG WCAP-1 5338 be modified (letter OG-02-004, January 22, 2002). I believe that the text addresses the understanding reached between Barry Elliot of NRC and Warren Bamford of Westinghouse during prior conversations. Please advise if this clarification is adequate, or identify if/where additional clarification is required.
If this clarification is considered to be acceptable, I will provide the same in a formal WOG letter.
