OF CONFERENCE CALL BETWEEN THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION (NRC) STAFF AND CAROLINA POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY REPRESENTATIVES TO DISCUSS THE ROBINSON NUCLEAR PLANT LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION On July 30, 2002, the NRC staff held a conference call with members of the Carolina Power &
Light (CP&L) Company to discuss the license renewal application (LRA) for the Robinson Nuclear Plant (RNP). The list of attendees is provided in Enclosure 1.
Boundary Drawings of Fire Protection System The staff from the Plant Systems Branch of the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, observed that the fire protection system is not included in the boundary drawings submitted with the RNP application. CP&L agreed to provide the following supplemental information within two weeks:
Boundary drawings for fire protection water system.
List of components and commodities in scope for fire protection gas system with system description.
A draft of this meeting summary was provided to the applicant to allow them the opportunity to comment prior to the summary being issued.
