SUMMARY
REPORT As set forth in the provisions of ASME Section XI, Paragraph IWA-6230, attached is the final Inservice Inspection Summary Report for the second quarter inservice inspection interval of North Anna Power Station Unit 2. This report provides a summary of the examinations performed between the Spring 2001 refueling outage and the end of the interval.
In accordance with IWA-6220 of ASME Section XI, the attachment to this letter includes a NIS-1 Form, "Owner's Report for Inservice Inspections," an examination summary, abstracts of examinations performed, and NIS-2 Forms, "Owner's Report for Repairs or Replacements."
The entire report will be maintained on file at the corporate office.

Attachment SN 02-467 Page* 1 of 12 Examination Summary Virginia Electric and Power Company North Anna Power Station Unit 2 2 nd Interval, 3rd Period System Pressure Tests This report covers two System Pressure Tests that were conducted at North Anna Power Station Unit 2 on October 21, 2001 and October 27, 2001. These System Pressure Tests were performed beyond start up due to scheduling. The tests were conducted to meet the requirements of ASME Section Xl, 1986 Edition, of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
Test procedures were approved prior to signing the final documentation. Certification documents relative to personnel, equipment, and materials were reviewed and determined to be satisfactory.
Personnel from the Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company of Connecticut, One State Street, Hartford, Connecticut 06102 (Mr. Mark Grace), and North Anna technical staff conducted inspections, witnessing and surveillance of the tests.

Attachment SN 02-467 Page 5 o' 12 Repair and Replacements Repairs and replacements completed since the Spring 2001 refueling outage were performed in accordance with Section Xl of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, 1986 Edition.
The following paragraphs and the attached NIS-2 forms represent those repairs and replacements performed on Class 1 and 2 systems.
RR# 2001-256 Rev. 3, Repaired Reactor Vessel CRDM penetration 63 by excavating flaws, performing tempered bead repair and using embedded flaw repair technique. This repair was performed under Work Order 459825 -01 & 09, and completed on 12/7/01.
RR# 2001-260 Rev. 1, Repaired Reactor Vessel CRDM penetration 62 after obtaining boat sample by performing tempered bead repair and using embedded flaw repair technique. The repair was performed under Work Order 457775-09 and 13, and was completed on 12/7/01.
RR# 2001-261, Repaired Reactor Vessel CRDM penetration 51 by performing a weld overlay repair. This repair was performed under Work Order 457775-09, and was completed on 12/7/01.
Statement of Interval Status Virginia Electric and Power Company has completed 100 percent of the third period system pressure test examinations and 100 percent of the second interval system pressure test examinations.
