SUMMARY
OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE Nine Mile Point Unit Two operated with a capacity factor (MDC) of 101.63% and an availability factor of 100% for the month of June 2002.
On June 22, 2001, at 0803 hours0.00929 days <br />0.223 hours <br />0.00133 weeks <br />3.055415e-4 months <br />, a planned power reduction was initiated to approximately 65% power for a control rod sequence exchange, rod SCRAM timing and turbine stop and control valve testing. Following satisfactory completion of these activities, full power operation was resumed on June 23, 2002 at 0405 hours0.00469 days <br />0.113 hours <br />6.696429e-4 weeks <br />1.541025e-4 months <br />.
There were no challenges to the safety relief valves during this reporting period.
